What is so good about Twilight? I read in May of 2006 before it was popular. It was boring. And then everyone loved it. I don't see what the big deal about it is... Hopefully someone can clear this up for me. :goodvibes

I don't really know anymore. I liked it because it was cute. The beginning of Twlight is very bad.

I know what you mean.
It took me about a month to read. I liked the romance, but the first half just didn't cut it for me...

Its easy to read, adorably romantic (as opposed to icky romance novel romantic), and has a bit of mystery and adventure. The books may not be great literature, but they do appeal to a lot of people.

I have no idea.
I stopped reading it halfway through. It was so boring?

I liked it when I first read it, and I still like it today.

But I'm not one of those people that obsesses about it. I bought Breaking Dawn the day it came out, but I haven't read it yet and all my friends at school are acting like I've committed treason or something.

I completely agree.

The way it was initially described to me before i opened it this summer was by a Harry Potter fan who said after I asked what the big deal was about it was mainly all the hype is because after Harry Potter ended all the HP fans needed another series to grab onto.

I personally enjoyed the books. I read all four this summer. They are long but quick reads, easy literature. There's romance, comedy, adventure and mystery all compiled into one.

It mostly depends on your taste also.
