Can someone explain to me re anna and elsa

I can't believe there are entire threads on this subject, including this one. This is the first one I've posted in, though.

Why ask why? If there are people who are willing to wait in those lines for characters, why question that? It has nothing to do with their skills as parents. It simply means they want to see the characters more than you do. At the same time, I don't see how this negatively affects anyone who chooses not to wait in the line.

I have not seen Frozen and am not sure I could determine who Anna and Elsa are if they were lined up next to Belle and Snow White. If I was at WDW now, I would try my best to avoid that line, but at the same time would be thankful for it if I can persuade my family not to meet A&E. It's obviously been a successful movie for Disney, and brings happiness to many guests. Plus, those people standing in that line are not standing in line for things I would want to do.

To each his/her own.

I guess I'd explain it to you the same way I'd explain it to my 5 year old. Everyone isn't like you. People have different likes, dislikes, values, etc. Some people will pay thousands to vacation at a themepark, some wouldn't. Some would wait several hours in line to do something they enjoy, some wouldn't.

It's good to be open minded and acknowledge this fact.

Because I don't lie to my children! I would do everything in my power before we went (which I did) to make sure she sees her favorites. Honestly it is not that hard to get FP to anything if you are flexible and on top of it.

But in a similar situation...we are doing BBB and my DD wants an Elsa dress which I know may not be possible. So we have discussed this possibility and that she needs to have a second option if we can't find the dress. But I would NEVER lie to my kid just to make it easier on me.

I was responding to the OP who was questioning why we wouldn't lie to our kids by pointing out the same reason she didn't lie to hers.
It helps to read from the start of a thread before quoting someone.
