Can someone explain? Tier 1 FP at Epcot Issue

we finished up at Epcot today. We had pre booked Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, and Test Track. After scanning TT (last FP of the day) I tried to book a 4th. I saw Soarin pop up but MDE wouldn’t let me book it Bc it said that guests can only pre book 1 FP from this grouping. But we were all done with all the pre booked ones. Was I doing something wrong?

It definitely should have let you do it unless something changed since January when I grabbed FEA as a 5th FP.

The FP system hadn’t yet deducted your TT FP from your account.

If you still had TT showing in MDX, you could have Canceled it to then book Soarin’.

Did you maybe have a member in your group that had not used one of their initial 3 or let it expire and they still had TT in there?

Something had to be in there to prevent Soarin from being selected because you can select any tier as a 4th FP

I had this happen all the time for some reason - like every single trip, it wasn't until our last trip this past January that the system finally allowed me to make a 4th, etc FP. A few others have reported the same issue. I was able to call prior to our trip and somehow IT took care of the issue but others have reported that if you go to guests services while you are there they can take care of it as well. It's a glitch in the system on some accounts that doesn't always allow FPs to fall off after they have been used. It was odd and super inconsistent, sometimes a FP would fall off, other times I had FPs that remained on my accounts for days after we had arrived home.

To further expand, for some reason, when some guests scan their MB, the FP doesn't register as used. When that happens, it won't let you make more. You can change one of the FP that you see left sitting on the account instead. Just use the modify feature

We also had that issue on our recent trip. Sometimes, it even showed on mine, but not dh's, the same with out dining ressies! Wouldn't let us cancel or modify them either - of course they were past already!
It would just say we already had one in that tier!

We just kept messing around with them and eventually it would work.

We were persistent with refreshing and everything came up that we could have wanted but we just couldn’t select due to that error message. Oh well, we drank and ate around the world instead!

This is what happened to me and exactly what I did to handle it. Good to know that I could stop by Guest Relations to have it fixed if MDE is all cleared of FP yet won't let me book a 4th.

So due to the glitch you skipped out on all the free rides coming from FP's, and instead spent more $$$$ on food and drinks??? My conspiracy senses are tingling!

it happened to my mom too. She thought i was wrong in telling her her fourth FP could be any tier.
