My DH and DS have told me they REFUSE to go back to the world unless I schedule them some time at Universal, so I have been looking in to the options. We will probably still stay at Disney, and drive over to Universal.

My question is this:

I was on the Universal site and they were talking about meal tickets. How do these work? I know nothing about Universal. I feel like such a newb haha.

Thanks,

( not to take over the thread) but I have a question as well..... at the certain spots where you can use the meal deal does it have a menu that lists what you can get or is it somehow marked appropriatly ?

there isn't a "separate menu"....you can get what you want, that's why it's only select restaurants........

Thanks Bubbas Mom...guess I was a bit confused by the wording on the uo site that it was only certain things at the certain resturants, I wasnt sure if there was a seperate menu or not. Thanks again :thumbsup2

It's "one appetizer", "one entree", "one dessert", etc...per time thru line.....you can't get 4 entrees your time thru the line, but you can go thru the line, and come back (whenever--10min or 2 hours) and get "one appetizer", "one entree", etc......

I'd be very interested in some info about the CW restaurants being added. That's one reason we weren't planning to do it because with the parks closing at 6 we would only be eating lunch there.

Any details appreciated!!!

Good idea to begin with, you will probably end up liking U better than Disney. As for this plan, unless it has recently changed, it usually only includes the kind of "fast-food" type places at U. The neat thing about U is the really nice restaurants in the park like Mythos. Mythos is not on the plan, and I would recommend not using it unless you are content with burgers and fries and just going ahead and eating at the more choice places.
