Can someone explain MVMCP tickets and making FP+ with ticket?

Hello! We get in late on on Monday and were planning on going to MK on Tuesday (going to make FP starting at noonish) and we have a BOG dinner ADR at 6pm. Tuesday is a party night and originally we were planning on going and just having a short MK day. It's going to be me, DH, DS 11 and DS 9 months. I figured we would kind of ease in to our trip as we have the baby with us for the first time.

So now I'm reconsidering buying party tickets for that night and I have read something in passing about how you can make a new account to buy tickets and make FP+ with the tickets. How does this work? Is it more hassle than it's worth? We would probably just get two fast passes because of our dinner time. It's not the reason we would do the party of course but I just wanted to get more info. Thank you!

The party ticket can indeed be used to get 3 fast passes on that day. However, since you are going earlier in the day and have fast passes already, then you can't add an additional 3...on the same account. If you want to create a second MDE, account, only associate the party tickets with that account and book 3 FP for the 4 to 6:30 time frame then you can do that. It might be considered a cheat, but there's nothing really stopping you.

I'm not sure if you might have to exit and re-enter the park though since your account with party tickets would not have day tickets on it. I really wouldn't think so since your tickets can be scanned at the in-park party locations (to get your wristbands and trick or treat bags), but it might at the least alert the CM to the shenanigans (but I doubt they'd actually care or anything). Someone with experience might elaborate.

One poster had MNSSHP and MVMCP tickets and the system only allowed FPs for the MNSSHP tickets.

Another poster also reported today that the MVMCP ticket did not open FP booking for the Party day:

Thanks very much for the information- sounds like I'll save myself some stress just by buying the tickets normally... Luckily we have another MK day planned so we're not going to miss out on anything. I really appreciate the response!!!
