I have someone who wants to give me a new parkhopper as a gift. It has never been used. But it was ordered via mail in someone elses name. Will I be OK using this or not? I'm just a little confused about the new system.

Thanks So Much

Passes are non-transferrable once they have been used. Until then, they can be bought and paid for by anyone and then gifted to whoever that person wishes to give them to. Once someone used the pass, it becomes tied to their biometric finger scan. Although the scan is not as unique as a fingerprint, it canbe used to include or exclude an individual as being the owner of the pass. Since you must scan your fingers everytime that you use the pass, you cannot use someone else's partially-used ticket.

Just bumping.... :bounce:

but I think (when we were there in AUGUST --which is A LONG TIME AGO) the card was linked to the person once they scanned your fingers. (thats when the ticket is activated)

but maybe someone has the real answer. :confused3

It sound like I will be OK since it has not been used yet?
That's when they will scan my finger and it will be linked to me then?

Yes, your finger scan will be recorded for that ticket upon first usage, by you.

There has been an unanswered question about someone else's use of tickets that were originally part of resort packages but tickets purchased separately are transferable prior to any use.
