My dh and I are going to be at WDW from 10/15-10/23 and want to go to the Universal Halloween nights but have A lot of questions:

1. When does it start - i.e. time of day - and when does it end
2. Will it be going on that week
3. Is it a separate ticket you buy? how much is it?
4. Where is it located - is it both at the Islands and Studio or one or the other
5. Is it possible to do everything in one night
6. How crowded does it get
7. What exactly takes place
8. Should we dress up in costumes
9. when is the best night to go?
10. What rides are open?

Any other info would be appreciated!

1. When does it start - i.e. time of day - and when does it end - Most of the time it opens at around 7 pm. If you are at the park before 5 pm with a regular ticket you can do the stay and scream which starts at about 6 pm.
2. Will it be going on that week - YES
3. Is it a separate ticket you buy? how much is it? Seperate ticket. price around $50.00 unless if you have a coupon
4. Where is it located - is it both at the Islands and Studio or one or the other - last year both parks, most likely this year both again.
5. Is it possible to do everything in one night YES
6. How crowded does it get Peak nights (Fri & Sat) packed 1 hr + waits for the houses, non peak 30+ for houses.
7. What exactly takes place - rides, haunted houses, scare zones, drinking
8. Should we dress up in costumes - Costumes aren't allowed
9. when is the best night to go? non-peak nights
10. What rides are open? all but the closing time very due to noise ordinances. Some rides don't open on non-peak nights.

Wow! Thanks Robert - that was very thorough - do you know when they will start with the ticket sales? And any idea where to get the coupon?

I believe the coupon is from Burger King

My turn with a question...I've seen multiple places where Halloween Nights are NOT recommended for children...my question is, how old? Are we talking strictly little kids, or anyone "under (drinking/voting) age"? What is the youngest age you'd recommend?

It depends on your child and how much they can handle scary stuff. I would say under 10 would be pushing it but again, that's up to the parents. I saw small kids there last year and they seemed to be having a good time. I don't know if they were doing the houses or not.

I would not recommend it for anyone younger than age 14.
