Can someone explain DDE????

We are annual pass holders so I think that means we would be elligible for DDE right? And what exactly is it???

It's an annual membership that has cost about $75. to annual passholders (age 21 and up) and gives you (party of up to ten) a 20% discounts at most WDW restaurants.

For larger groups, arrange seating no more than 10 to a table with (another) member at each table.

The name has been changed to Tables In Wonderland.

Also available to Florida residents without annual passes, for $100.

Discount may not be combined (stacked) with other discounts.

Ok, I am an AP holder but not a Fl resident. Am I still elligible???

We are thinking about skipping the meal plan on our next big trip just because it's so much food. Would this be a better option for us?

Also, does just one of us need the card? Am I understanding it correctly to mean that only one person at the table must have a card? Not everyone that's eating?

You just need to be an AP to be eligible, and you only need one card per table (although there might be limitations to the size of your dining party). We have been using this for the last few years instead of getting a dining plan, and it can pay for itself in just one trip! I believe the only blackout dates are on the major holidays; I think Mother's day was listed but we were able to use it. They do add an 18% gratuity to your bill too, so you don't have to calculate the tip, it's already included. We've really gotten our money's worth from it.
