Can someone do a tutorial and how to do name fills?

I would love to be able to do this myself and not have to get someone to do it for me.

I use MS powerpoint. I make my name from word art - a big fat font of some kind. I save my clip art - or whatever I want to use for a fill as a photo. When I click on "fill" in the word art, it gives the array of colors and then at the bottom, there's some other selections - picture, gradient, texture. Select picture and then your chosen picture from your my pictures file. It's pretty simple, if you play with it.

I can't find my office disk, I haven't yet installed it on the imac. Can anyone tell me how to do this in photoshop?
