Ok so planning a disneyworld trip in upcoming fall and i wanted to know what all does the tour entail? what attraction? how much walking? any character meetings?

someone told me peter makes an appearance while others have told me thats a flat out lie.

i want a lite tour but would enjoy character time, and a getting to learn some about the park.

keys of the kingdom looks interesting but I'm wanting info on family magic!

We did the Family Magic tour a few years ago and it was fantastic. My girls were 10 and 5. It is a bit like a treasure hunt around the park led by a cast member. Each clue leads to somethign which belongs to a character for example they found Rapunzels frying pan, a book belonging to Belle etc. The idea is that while the characters were watching the fireworks the night before a villian (can't remember which one hid all their special things and we had to help find them).

There was a private meeting with Peter Pan and at the end we got to meet Mickey and Minnie who thanked us for finding all of the things.

It was a great experience and my girls loved every minute. Cast member was great and kept all the kids involved, even those who were a bit less outspoken and shy.

Highly recommended!

ill be 23 my friend will be 22, but honestly I'm a huge kid at heart is that an issue or would we sorta be pushed aside?

also ill probably have a walker or scooter would that interfere with the tour in any way?

We did this tour this past summer, my son is 6 and loved it. It was a real highlight of our trip. It's two hours and you're walking the entire time as you move through the park from clue to clue gathering your items. We rode Pooh's Adventure for one of the clue huntings. We had a meeting with Peter Pan at the half way point and then with talking Mickey at the end. Our guide also gave us a set of any time FP when we were done.

My opinion is that 6 - 8 is the real sweet spot for age on this tour, but I can also see a little younger or older also having fun with this. It's interactive and the more you get into it as a parent, the more fun all around.

As for whether or not there would be an issue being 2 adults w/no kids, I don't think there would be much of one other than I would think you'd have to hang back a bit and let the kids take the lead on reading clues and figuring out where to go, but for me following the kids was fun in itself. Wheelchair/scooter should be no issue, you don't go anywhere you don't go on your own through the parks - but you may just want to ask that question if/when you book.

hey thank you for details, honestly yes I'm slightly older than 6-8 lol but i personally love characters and this seems like a fun way to get to meet some, wonder if when asking about scooter if you can ask which character will be featured on the tour?

i might have some trouble hanging back though XD
