Seems like there are more and more of these pretrip reports on here. Isnt this category supposed to be for trip reviews/reports of what actually happened on your cruise?

Can there be a category for pre-trips, pre-planning, or just let us know in the title when the trip report really, really starts i.e., what page...page 18? I'll be there. I really want to read your trip reports! I love them! Especially with pictures! I understand people love the pre trip process. That's why I love the meet forums. Non stop planning and sharing is so fun!

I also love it when people mention what page it has been updated! Because I read all of them Hope we don't get flamed too bad It's all good...just want to read about all your fun!

ETA: I know I don't have to click on a pre trip thread. Especially when it states a PTR for 2013 cruise. I think it's great that that info is in the subject line. I know not to click. But I really do want to read trip reports and sometimes they are the same thread. And for over 10 years I have spent a good deal of time finding the page where the actual report starts. Will continue to do so.....just help a girlfriend out.

For example, out of approx. 50 threads on the first page of this sublisting, 25 are actual trip reports, 21 are ptr's and 4-5 are misc. That's just guessing based on the titles.

No flames here, I agree with you completely. Pre-trip reports don't interest me, and they seem to be quite a bit ahead of the actual cruise date. I'm not saying someone shouldn't be able to post a pre-trip report, I'm just not that interested in reading it and would be helpful if it had it's own sub-category. I do however, enjoy reading everyone's actual trip reports.

Totally agree! I love the trip reports, especially those with tons of pictures, but the pre-trip report thing is getting out of hand.

Yes there was, not sure what happened to it. That was always the one I went to first LOL. I like reading them start to finish like a good book.

Would love to see a sticky with COMPLETED trip reports. I remember getting frustrated during my cruise research and there were several (many?) PTRs and TRs that stopped mid-way.

I enjoy PTRs, but it's always nice when they finish with links to the actual TR.
