I am going in Feb 06 (whoopee), ninth time.

Usually done everything willy nilly.

Doing the following parks:-

Magic Kingdom
MGM Studios
Animal Kingdom (never been)
EPCOT
Universal Studios
Island of Adventure
SeaWorld
Discovery Cove (Must do on 6th FEB, cause were booked in that day)
Busch Gardens

Want to do shopping as well, would also like to do the stampede.

Any ideas would be grateful.

Ordered the superb brits guide today as well, but not due till November, cause its the revised version.

PS. I am not lazy, just wanted ideas

I'll have a crack at an itinerary for you, but I would need to know what sort of tickets you have to ascertain how many days you can have at each park.

Also, who does your party consist of and what parks are your faves??

Allie

Got the Orlando Flexi ticket and 14 day ultimate ticket for disney.

Fav park Island of adventure.

Cheers for the help

Party consists of

Me and my girlfriend and her 2 children (14 and 18)

Here are a few ideas for you...(sorry I do not know what day the 6th of Feb will fall in your trip, so I will fit Discovery Cove in, but it will probably be on the wrong day if you see what I mean!!). Im assuming you are going for 2 weeks??

Day 1. Arrive / shop for supplies
Day 2. Gentle start - Animal Kingdom
Day 3. Your fave park - Islands of Adventure
Day 4. Slow things down - a water park (possibly Typhoon Lagoon) evening at Downtown Disney or the Dixie Stampede
Day 5. MGM - Studios
Day 6. Shopping / rest day
Day7. Universal Studios
Day 8. Discovery Cove
Day 9. Magic Kingdom
Day 10. Busch Gardens
Day 12. Sea World
Day 13. Epcot
Day 14. Revisit any park
Day 15. morning shopping or water park / afternoon flight home.

That really only gives you one day in each park, one rest day, and one option to revist another park.

This could be another alternative...

Day 1. Arrive / shop
Day 2. Sea World am / water park pm
Day 3. Islands of Adventure
Day 4. Animal Kingdom am (not a huge park, and if its quiet, can be done easily in half a day. PM Magic Kingdom (Im guessing with older kids you might be able to knock this out in half a day...this park tends to be open later at weekends so maybe pick a Fri or Sat and stay for Spectromagic)
Day 5. Rest day / shopping
Day 6. Busch Gardens
Day 7. AM Wet n Wild / PM Disney MGM studios
Day 8. Discovery Cove
Day 9. Universal Studios
Day 10. Blizzard Beach / afternoon shopping/ evening Dixie Stampede
Day 11. Epcot
Day 12. Islands of Adventure
Day 13. Revisit fave park
Day 14. Revisit fave park
Day 15. am shopping / water park. PM flight home

This plan crams more in the early week but gives you more flexibility on week 2 to do whichever parks you enjoy most.

Hope that helps a little!

Looks very promising, possibly looking at the second version.

Appreciate the help very much

As you have so much to cram into so little time why don't you log onto Tour Guide Mike's web site so that you can make the most out of the parks with very little waiting time. It does cost about $18 to register but you have loads of really useful info then and it is updated daily and you get a personalised guide.

Remember AK closes at 5pm.
We normally do that on our 1st day as we are normally up early due to jet lag, and we are pretty pooped early evening.

So our first day is normally....

up at 7am (not through choice!!)
Grab a quick breakie.
Get to AK asap and get on Kilamanjaro safaris before it gets too busy and also before it gets too hot for the animals.
(If you do this first - there is not normally too many queue's as long as you get there pretty much at opening time, so it saves using a Fast Pass straight away. You could grab a Fast Pass for something else, and then go straight to Kilamanjaro Safaris).

Spend the day at the park, not rushing about, watch all the shows etc. and then we have dinner at Rainforest Cafe and head back to the hotel, and have a nice relaxing swim, and in bed by 9/10pm latest.

Then we are all ready for the rest of holiday.

I don't like to over do it on the first day and AK is a great place to visit for your first day.

Then we normally do Islands of Ad or Universal on Day 2 as we are ready for some great rides.

I don't have a usual plan for the rest of my trip, but always do these 2 parks on Day 1 and Day 2.

Hope that helps.
