Can somebody offer advice about ordering online??

I guess I need some advice here... I found an online store that was having a pre-sale on a new bamboo flooring line... it was about half the cost of what we were expecting to pay... which is great!

Here's the bad news however... they require payment up front even though it won't be delivered for 2 months (it's on the boat coming over I'm told)... I'm also told we can cancel the order anytime from now til the time it ships to us... BUT, the reason I'm told they're offering the special rate is because it's a prepaid order...

What would everyone else do? This is a store that has top customer ratings on Yahoo.com.... I like the savings, but I don't like having to pay so much money up front...

As long as they don't charge your credit card until it ships (and it sounds like that is the case, since they allow you to cancel up until that point) then I'd definitely go for it!

Charging your card when an item ships is status quo for online ordering, that's nothing new.

They actually want to charge my card NOW, even though shipping won't occur for another two months... that's why I'm so worried... it's a pre-paid order, that I can cancel if I choose to.... What would you do? It's for our new house & the amount although several thousand dollars would save us several thousand dollars...
