Can "Reservation Points" be transferred to another DVC owner?

Does anyone know if Reservation Points (from a cancelled non-DVC resort reservation) be transferred to another DVC owner? If so, what would this mean for the person who receives the transferred points?

Actually while MS has told me no, I do seem to recall other experiences to the contrary a few years ago and see nothing in the rules that would preclude transfer.

If I am correct you mean as in a stay at actual resort hotel or II. I read that if it is booked into these types even whan it is cancelled you have to use it to book a like accomodation so transferring may not be an option just like borrowing from years.

I would have to agree with Dean, I dont see anywhere in the guide books that you could or could not transfer reservation points. I do recall years ago offers of transfer reservation points for rent. I do know if the points are transfer into another account the reservation points remain just that reservation points. For some reason I believe i was told that by MS, again this could have been years ago and rules may have change since then, I would call MS and find out if the reservation points can be transfer.
