Can PPO breakfast get an offsite guest onto rides before public park opening?

Now that pre-park-opening breakfasts are coming back, I'm curious about how they interact with Early Entry, from the standpoint of an offsite guest. Supposing:
  • a park's official opening is 9am
  • early entry is 8:30
  • by some stroke of luck I landed an 8am ADR
... then, in the early-entry half hour of 8:30-9:00, can I get on rides along with the onsite guests? or would wristband-scanning leave me stuck until 9?

Assuming you are out of the breakfast before 9, when I went last month, there was only one way for resort guests to enter, everything was blocked off and they verified we were hotel guests before being allowed to enter. So I dont want to confidently say they will check, but my guess is they will check.

It depends on the location of the restaurant. For example, if you eat at the Crystal Palace, you will still be before the point where they scan MagicBands for resort guests. So, you wouldn't be allowed back to the attractions. My guess is that they will have cast members scanning bands at some point outside of the restaurants that offer the ppo ADRs.

But, it will be very unlikely that you would get out of an 8:00 am adr in time to take advantage of the early entry anyway. You'd have to have a super fast wait person and eat crazy fast!!

Is BOG bringing back breakfast? CRT is prepay. Crystal palace is before the check. So if you book the ADR and then don’t actually go to restaurant taking the no show up fee, it doesn’t get you into early open section of the park. Don’t how feasible it is in non MK parks where they are scanning for early entry at the gate.

This reminds me of one time my oldest daughter and I went to MK early because we mistakenly thought it was early open. We ended up at the front of the crowd of guests being held in the castle hallway to the side of the Cinderella’s Royal Table entrance.
We noticed one group - mom, dad and 2 boys checking in for breakfast. They were really noticeable because the boys were whining pretty loudly about not wanting to go to a ‘girly breakfast’.
Not long after, they were out again and had somehow gotten onto the other side of the rope. The kids were laughing loudly and kind of lording it over those of us waiting behind the rope. A minute or so later, Security escorted their whole group back to the ‘waiting side ‘ of the line. They tried to get to the front, but were escorted to the very back.
For the rest of the wait, the kids were whining about being hungry and the woman was yelling because the msn had hurried them hadn’t let them even eat their breakfast. So, the plan was a complete bust

I think Disney has gotten wise to those trying the 'game' the park opening time by scheduling an early breakfast. There are older threads about that topic. I would expect they won't let you have park access at the conclusion of your meal to prevent that sort of behavior.

Last December they were scanning bands for resort guests for early entry. We scanned at the walkway to the right of the castle going towards fantasyland and then held up in front of Comsic Rays until the actual early enter time
