Guests just "looking around" is one thing but the next step the OP is bringing the "guest" to "take a look" at the pool. As far as using spa services or dining? That is fine use those services and leave.
One of the great benefits of being a DVC member is that you get to pool hop. I can use any pool at WDW resorts that I want to (except BCV and AKL, of course) as long as there is not a holiday. I think disney does it this way because for most pools, occupancy isn't a real problem, otherwise they would change the system. In any case, if you feel so strong about no one but the registered guests at the resort to use the pool, maybe you should bring your concerns to DVC or WDW, but I'm pretty sure that for anyone of you that think this way, there are 3 or more that thinks that being able to pool hop is a great benefit and will fight for it.
Anyway, my understanding is that the OP does not want to take her guests to the pool, but have them visit her at the villa, and I don't see why not.
