Can only part of your party use DDP credits

We would like to make sure our kids eat breakfast every morning, however, me and husband do not eat breakfast ...we where looking to do a couple charater breakfasts but only the kids eat....can you do this...we where looking to do Crystal Palace and Chef Mickeys for breakfast will they allow us to do this and perhaps just pay for a coffee???

This doesn't apply just to the Dining Plan, but rather, in general, all folks have to pay at buffets, not just those eating. There used to be an "entertainment fee" you could pay instead (first $5, then $7) but I'm not sure that offer still exists. Regardless, you cannot simply pay for two child meals at character breakfasts if there are four of you, and just paying for coffee almost surely would not be sufficient.

You can do as you suggest, even on the Dining Plan, if you chose a restaurant that was not a buffet or prix fixe meal.
