Can On-Site Guest use other Resort Facilities?

We are staying at the All STar Movies and will be hotel sightseeing. We would like to use some of the other resort facilities like pool, Ol' Man Isle Playground, Chip N' Dale Campfire and Butterfly garden. I think we can but DH has planted the seeds of doubt. Can we?

In a word, the answer is No. However, there are some exceptions to this rule!

For example, if you stay at one of the All Star resorts, you can use the pools at any of the other All Star resorts.

If you stay at Port Orleans Riverside, you can use the pool at Port Orleans French Quarter, and vice versa.

If you are a DVC member and are staying on points, you can use the pool at any resort, except Yacht & Beach Club, unless of course you are staying there.

If my answer is not 100% correct, someone else will be along shortly to correct me and give the correct answer


Regarding other activities, such as the Chip & Dale Campfire, I believe you CAN do those things

Yes, SeaSpray, I believe your answer is correct. I have read many posts where this question was asked - it can become like the refillable mug threads!

Yes, you can do most of the other resort activities. Just can't use their pools. By all means...check them all out. I can't imagine anyone would have an issue if you used the playground at POR...it is a good one! It's really just the pools. Have a terrific time!!!

The Chip & Dale Campfire Program at Fort Wilderness is for all WDW Resort Guests! Have a great time!

I can live without using the other resort pools.. we have the Fantasia Pool! I'm glad we can do the other facilities.
