DH and I love Forbidden Journey, DD 11 and DS 13 do not but they still want to see the queue. Would they be able to go through the castle with us, and then wait in the child swap room while we ride? Or would they have to exit?

They can wait there.

Yep, my oldest (15 at the time) hung out in the Mummy's child swap area...heck, one time I hung out by myself in the child swap...wasn't ready to try Rip Ride Rockit yet, but my 12 year old loved it :D

The swapping is definitely more family friendly at Universal. Dh was the one to use the Forbidden Journey waiting room last time. :)

My husband doesn't ride some of the rides but likes to wait in line with us. He uses the child swap room :) :) :)
