I've been looking at some of the restaurants at DLR, and there are a number I really like. I just got off the phone with Disney Dining and was told that since Sept. last year, children ages 10 and up were considered adults. Now that I'm off the phone with them, I have been looking at menus a bit more closely. I had anticipated my 10y.o. DS being able to order off the children's menu, and had planned where to go appropriately. He's not going to be too keen on some of the places we're going if he can't order off the kids menu!
So, will they let the older kids order off the kids menu? Will they make what's on the kids menu in a larger quantity (for example, the pasta on the kids menu at Wine Country Trattoria) and charge appropriately?
What's your experience been?

I even order off the kids menu sometimes! As long as you atleast have some kids with you, I have never been questioned on who it's for (and I order everything instead of my kids saying what they want themselves, so they would never really be able to assign who gets what!!) I don't think you'll have a problem at all, only at a buffet type restaurant!

no, you can even buy food off the kids menu even without kids. I took my mom and dad in and they ordered off the kids menu ^_^

I'm 14 and I order off the kids menu (granted I look ten:rolleyes: ) and my mom orders off of it too!

Steph what a cute picture!

I wouldn't worry about the kids menu. I think you are going to be just fine. I've only seen them ask ages at a buffet too.

We were at Blue Bayou and asked our server for our almost 11 year old dd. He said it was fine for her to order off the kids menu.
