They want to put our extra/unused DME tags on their carry-ons just because. Does anyone see this posing any kind of problems since we will be taking care of the luggage anyway?

If you have to gate check your carry-ons, they may end up in the Magical Express system to your resort, possibly depriving you of swimsuit, toothbrush, etc. for your first night depending on your arrival time into Orlando.

This would be the only issue...... now, if the carry on fits under the seat in front of you, then no issues at all. This would only come in to play if you are tagging roll-a-boards that might have to be gate checked if the bins are full.......
