We are arriving a week from tomorrow. Yay! I have 14 year old twins and they may be on their own in the parks a bit. Can they charge a meal if I give them the code to the magicbands? Will I have to somehow give permission for them to charge something on their bands? Thanks

Yes. It was wonderful for my kids (15/13/13) to be able to charge on their magic bands. Just set up a pin they can each easily remember. I also had them each buy a bottle of water when we first got there to test it and make sure it worked and they knew how to use them. Have fun!

My kids at 11/12 had charging privileges. They loved it and used it when we together.

There are other vacations we go to where they are accustomed to charging on their own. Interesting to see and teach.

We also have gotten them debit cards. And had a lot of conversations of if you don't have a balance, you don't get to buy it. :charac2:

Yes, as others have mentioned, you just have to set up PINS for their bands. If you have any issues doing this, the CM's at the front desk of your resort can help.
