Can more than one wheelchair fit onto a bus?

Can more than one wheelchair fit onto a bus? My grandmother will be in a wheelchair and my aunt will have an ECV rented offsite so it would be helpful if we all could go on one bus, or are we going to have to take two?

Has anyone stayed at the Grand Florida with an ECV? How is the accessibility at the resort? We stayed in a cabin at Ft. Wilderness a few years ago and were just able to park the EVC right in front where a plug was located. I just thought that monorail access would be easy, but the boats might be just as handy. Any opinions?

There is space for 2 wheelchairs or ecvs at a time on the buses.
We've never stayed at GF, but last March, when we styed at VWL, there was a sign by the boat dock that indicated wheelchairs and ecvs might not be balee to go on the boat because of changing water levels. When the water is too high or low compared to the dock, the boat will float too high or low, causing a big step to get onto the boat. They have portable ramps if the differrnce is not too large, but there are times when the difference just makes the ramp too steep to use. You'll always have the monorails though.

Busses can hold two W/Cs and/or ECVs. The only problem you may have if the bus already has a W/C or ECV on board. I'm not sure about the monorail and how it accommodates more than one W/C at a time. I know we fit my ECV and two strollers in the HP car. So I think you could fit the W/C and ECV in one car.

Have actually seen them get 3 wheelchairs on a monorail car and they have 2 cars that are accessible per monorail. It all depends on the length of the chairs and the courtesy of the people accompanying the person in a wheelchair. Have also have it where a person refuses to move the wheelcahir to accommodate more than that chair alone.

Thanks for you help. I feel much better about the trip. I think we will stay at the Grand Floridian because it hopefully will be easier on traveling. Plus it is very beautiful there.
