Hi! Can the new plan be added when you check in? What about the food plans? OR does the packages need to be prepaid like the old silver plan?

I don't know about the dining plans; but yes you can purchase MYW tickets at check-in. They are replacing UPH, PH & PH, which will no longer be sold come 1/2/05.

i just wish there was a way to do the dining plan without doing a vacation package. 35 bucks to eat a day! c'mon you can't beat that. but i have a feeling they'll make their money back on what you'll be charged for the room.

Is there a way to add SOME days to your ticket for food... I am staying at FW cabins and we plan on making our own meals but some days like when we go to AK it is too far to come back for lunch and dinner so we will eat in the parks. wondering if like say 2 out of the 5 days we can get the dining option... anyone know???

It didn't sound like you will be able to pick and choose for dining options. The way it is presented is that for each night you are there (each night of your hotel reservations) each adult pays $35 and each child pays $10. I didn't interpret it to be flexible - you have to purchase it for everyone in your party and it has to be for every night of your stay. BUT Disney has not trained their employees yet, so it might turn out to be different by the time they are actually selling the plans.

Like the old plans, the dining options must be booked as part of a room package, DVCers and room only ressies can not take advantage of the meal plan.

I just called today to book my new ps for meals, since all have changed since the new tickets and hours! For some reason I could not book Brown Derby Fantasmic reservations for Feb. In fact she didn't even have Feb. hours today even though it was on their site last night. She was so nice!
I asked if I would be able to add the dinning plan and tickets when I arrive and she said she couldn't give me an answer until their training is done. She even said there was going to be surprises for us that they even haven't told their cm's yet! Sounds very exciting! She told me that they were going to be very flexable with people that already have reservations so they can take advantage of the new plan. But she said the phones will probably be swamped and to be patient! I will be patient but on their 1 800 line! lol I can't wait, I am so excited! By the way now is a good time to book restaurant ps's since I got every one that I wanted at the time I wanted! :flower1: :flower: :flower1: :flower:

The only way to do what you want (not all the days) is to have to seperate reservations and have to check out and in.

Reservation changes can not be made to add new plans until 1.2.05

The only flexibility I know of in "non daily" eating on this plan is the features that require 2 sit down credits, obviously will leave you mealless, one day.

Could you give me the 1-800 number? The only one I have is the 407 W-Disney. Don't even want to think about my phone bill!

I am going to wait until the 3rd to call. The new plan will save me about $200. over the old PHP plan. I'm sure they'll let you add tickets to any reservation just as they have in the past.

I'm checking in to the WL on 1/2 and I just tried calling this morning to compare my room only AP rate and the new package deal. The rep couldn't tell me anything about it. I can't understand how they can say that packages will start 1/2 when they can't even be booked until 1/2. The woman that I spoke with said that I should just check the website???

The website doesn't have any but the most vague information, and it's not even working right now.
