I see that kids 10 and up are considered adults ($$-wise) but they may not have adult tastes yet, can they still order from kids menu? I mean, we already paid the adult price so do they care about which menu they order from?
I'm really really sorry, because I'm sure this is either the most moronic question or has been covered 100 times already but this DDP is all new to me.

I'm still trying to figure out if this plan is right for us. We are planners most of the time but freak out at "having" to be at a certain area at a certain time to eat all the time. We may actually use some or most of TS meals as breakfasts, as long as parks & resorts have them early enough to still make park opening.

Since you already paid the adult price, there is very little chance Disney will give you any hassles about using those credits for child meals. I think you might find, however, that if you're going to be doing that often, you'll be better off without the Dining Plan.

My DS is 12 and he was offered the kids menu at several menus but declined at all except CG. We elected to pay for his meal OOP thereby saving 2 credits for another time.
