Sometimes I wish it was easier to search these boards... but... I haven't been to Universal Studios Orlando since before IOA opened. My question is this: Can you do both Universal and IOA in three days? I'm thinking of traveling sometime after labor day through before the week of Thanksgiving (not sure what week yet). I'd like to hit as many attractions as possible but also take in as much of the scenery as possible also. I will be staying at one of the onsite hotels, so early entry to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the Universal version of Fastpass will be used.

Sure ya can. I actually did it in 2 but it was a low season/less crowds. I want to say it was end of September, beginning of October. Stayed at the Days Inn with my daughter who was 22 at the time so we never held one another up. That was in 2005, before Harry Potter came along :)
3 days would be plenty IMO. :)

I'd probably stay offsite if there would be something in walking distance (and I mean like less than a half a mile), but I can't seem to find anything. I was going to do a longer trip, but staying onsite just seemed to really cost a lot, so I thought I'd drop it down a day.

Thanks for the input guys!

I've done both parks at Universal in one day, it was a long day. But with three days, you should have a blast, and not be rushed.

We have stayed at The Doubletree and holiday inn universal on major blvd and both are 10 to 15 min walk to universal and this year we are trying the bestwestern plus universal and its across the parking lot from the Doubletree

Add me to the list of doing it in 2 days staying at the Homewood suites on American Way blvd. Awesome hotel with free breakfast and free light dinner in the afternoon. Hotel is also within 15-20 minute walking distance

In my opinion yes. No issue at all. We were there when the crowds were at the worst (well supposed to be anyway) around Christmas and did all of IOA/US in 2 days and we were staying off site. In fact any more than 2 days and we would have gotten bored.
