Was planning a holidays 2013 visit and hitting up both IOA and US just before Christmas day when the parks are open from 9-9.Is it possible to do a park in one day and take an afternoon break?

Both parks no...even though the crowds don't really show up until 12/26, it will still be busy. Besides...you could only do the highlights of both parks and with an afternoon break, your chances are very slim. If you are only doing one park then yes...you could see just about everything.

agree..and it depends on what you mean by holidays..Starting Dec 26th it is crazy busy with long waits..One day is enough to maybe hit hilights, but not everything in both parks

Dates I was looking at were the 22nd and 23rd of Dec.That's 2 days so wanted to do IOA one day and US the other and wondering if I could do an afternoon break.Hope that's more clear.

Thats doable..It will still be busy, but nowhere near the dates after Christmas and one day per park is what most of us recommend to get the most out of it

Thanks for the info.Maybe will play it by ear when I get to the park and see the crowds
