We are going back this coming December with myself, DH, DS & DIL. I would like to take them to Nacrosse for dinner. I know it takes two credits per person but I have heard that you can use one & pay for other half, true? Or would it be better to pay for the other Sit downs to make up for it or just pay for it? Thanks

You can't do that.

You can use 2 credits and pay for one person and pay for another person out of pocket but you can't use 1 credit to pay half the cost of a 2 credit meal.

If there are 4 of you planning to eat there, then you can pay OOP for 2 of you and use 4 Ts Credits for the other 2.

Just make sure you specify which two are going to eat on plan and ask for separate checks. This way they don't charge you cash for the 2 most expensive and place the 2 least expensive on the plan, also they won't do an automatic charge of 18% for gratuity and you can tip accordingly by choice.

We went to Narcoossee's at the end of August. We used 2TS credits each and thought it well worth the 2TS. We paid OOP for a buffet Character breakfast later on the trip. That meal cost us $20 each. You cannot feed an adult at Narcoossee's for $40.

Please go and use your credits it is a very special meal experience that won't disappoint you. I venture to say you'll create memories. If you are looking to treat your family, you've found the place.

You may find that you end up sharing some CS meals and have some extra credits. You could just use a CS credit for a meal later in the trip and not spend any extra cash for a meal.

A TS breakfast that would be special experience and under $20pp is the buffet at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Lodge itself is spectacular, Boma was a top 3 dinner meal for us and I plan to try the breakfast on my next trip.
