Can I watilist for a BW view if I have a Preferred Garden/Pool view booked ?

Hi -

I just booked a 2BR at BWV for our upcoming trip ... arriving Aug 25. There were only preferred pool/garden views available. I just happened to think about the possibility of waitlisting for a Boardwalk view if one becomes available for our dates ... has anyone ever done that ? Will MS even take a waitlist for a change in preferred views at the BWV ?

Also ... if anyone is thinking about taking a trip the last week of August, there were still 1BR Standard views available as of yesterday !!! My dates are Aug 25 - Sept 1 and the 1BR standard was available for the entire week !
Of course, I'm taking that to mean that the parks will not be too crowded while we are there 'cause it seems like a quiet week !

I don't think that the waitlist for the BW view would be a problem. The new reservation would use the same no. of points as the preferred view.

The question is whether you should waitlist for day by day or the whole week. Day by day would be more likely to come through, but, you may not get all the days and have to move around. But it definitely wouldn't hurt any thing to get on the waitlist for the entire week. If it comes through, great!

Yes you can. I'm currently on a waitlist for BW veiw for april 28th and i have a pool/garden veiw. I'm waitlisting for all or nothing as i'm only there 3 nights. I will need to call at the 30 day mark to continue the waitlist. Susan

I will call MS and ask to be waitlisted right now ! I'll go for the "all or nothing" ... if it happens, it happens. Either way, we'll be happy just to be there !

We waitlisted for a BW view for our July trip and about three weeks later we had it. It was so easy! Good luck!

DM and me will be there august 13 - 28 in 1 bedroom Preferred. And I waitlisted us for a Boardwalk also for the all or nothing. Don't know the chances of mine actually going through for the 2 weeeks but I'm crossing my fingers! Good luck to you too! See ya there!
