This is a bit complicated, and I tried to book Aulani, but of course this close to Easter week it is not available for all of out nights.

DH has a business trip and since it falls over Easter break for us, DD and I will be going along...oh to endure such torture;), :rotfl2:
Anyway I would love to visit Aulani and perhaps enjoy a meal there, would this be possible?

OK. I know this may sound smart-mouthed but I don't mean it that way. Why couldn't you?

Guard shack (I Assume there is one). Going to a restuarant. Have a nice day.

Disney's there to make money. Plain and simple. I'm sure people go in and out all day to shop, eat and generally just look around, just like every other major vacation resort.

Well, I wasn't sure if it was like a regular resort that would allow us to dine there and take a look around without being registered guests or if it was more like an all inclusive where you might not be allowed in if you were not staying there. I didn't want to tell DD we could go peek and enjoy a meal if it were not possible.

I believe there is a $35 parking fee, but if you eat there, you can get that fee removed. Not sure of the details but be sure to ask.

Thanks for the info. I will be sure to do that!
I still can't believe that I get to go to Hawaii!

Hi Patsal,

We just returned from a one week's stay at Aulani and it was wonderful. The resort is located in the gated Ko Olina resort community so you may need to stop at the guard shack upon entry but you can definitely go visit, eat and shop. DVC members get free parking with their stay but I don't know if that applies to just visiting.

The $35 fee is waived with a $35 or more purchase. You won't be able to use the pool or the beach chairs but you can use the beach (all the beaches in Hawaii are public). I think you can go to the spa (and get a DVC discount on services too) without being a registered guest.

Hope that helps! Take care, help lots of people and have a wonderful day!
