Can I vent?

Hi there... I know the feeling. Trust me. We are high school sweethearts and have been through many of the same things you are going through, especially with my family. We have been engaged for 7 months now. We are having our FTW on Dec. 11, 2006. We can't really afford it yet, but we know we will. My parents can't afford to help us (makes you wonder why they were in such a rush for me to get married before this... lol...). go with your heart. If we had listened to all the people who told us we should have gotten married, we'd already be divorced. We have had our ups and downs and are stronger now than ever before. And we have a nine year old on top of all that. don't listen to others.

Like everyone else said...just ignore them and enjoy life on your schedule.

But, to play devil's advocate, I have to admit to razzing my brother in law, before he became my BIL. He lived down the street from us and dated my sister through high school and college and beyond. Then I met a guy and got engaged & married in just 11 months. I had to be a stinker and addressed my sister's wedding invitation "Sister and Guest." They weren't married or engaged yet, so technically she could have brought anyone! He was a little miffed with me, but then laughed it off when he realized I was just trying to get his goat!
