Can I Use Visa Rewards to tip?

We're using the dining plan (PAID for it-- blah! just tried to apply one of those new codes for free dining, no luck.). Anyway, we're using the dining plan and I was wondering - will I be able to use my Rewards Card to leave a tip? Or will I have to do cash?

We had a group of 6 so we had 18% automatically added to the bill on the dining plan so I don't know what you get if you are less than 6 but I imagine you get a bill will zero that you can add a tip on. Yes, you can use the Rewards Card for the tip. You don't have to use cash. You can also use your room card if you want and use the Rewards Card to pay that off.

I've heard we get a check for zero with the option to add a tip - glad to know I can use the card! Thanks!

We just returned yesterday from a 6 day stay and we used our rewards card for all the tips without any trouble.When the bill came it had a line to add the tip to it so we filled out the amount we wanted to tip then we put our reward card and our room key (which had our dining plan on it) with it. We then recieved 2 reciepts- 1 the modified bill -showing $0 owed and the second showing the amount deducted from the rewards card and the remaining balance on the card.
