Can I use my developer points for THV

I bought @ BLT and received my developer points. Can I book on Sunday for THV or do I have to wait?

My understanding is that Developer's Points are only valid at the 7 month window. So you would have to wait until the 22nd to book, and would have to be within 7 months of your arrival date.

Only owners at SSR will be allowed to make their reservations on the 8th, as tjkraz mentioned, you will have to wait.

However, it may be worthy to note that I've read here that developer points are not good for booking at the THV. Something about there being wordage on the Dev. Pt contract as to such. Just be aware this might be true.

My DP contract addendum states SSR, the specific DL hotels and RCI as booking options for these points, and does not specifically exclude THV. THV is just a booking category of SSR, so I would think that you can use them there. The contract does state that you can't book more than 7mo ahead of your check in date, so it may be a moot point as I don't think THVs will be available often at 7mo.

I would at least try to get one when non-SSR owners can call. Then if none are available for your dates, go to Plan B. Good luck!

I was making other ressies yesterday and the rep told me that my developers were good for THV, just not at the Feb 8th booking date.
