can I use gift cards anywhere in the resort?

I want to start buying gift cards for food and such, can I use these all over the resort, or just in the parks? I want to have enough money to pay for all our meals but need to know if they will work in down town disney at there resturants to.

Not in most places in Downtown Disney, unfortunately, as they are not Disney owned and operated. In the parks and hotels, yes.

The gift cards is what we did in early March. They only work at the World of Disney store in DTD. They work almost everywhere in the parks (except snack carts that don't have credit machines)....I believe there are a couple stores that don't except them....but none we ran into. They work at all 3 DL Resort Hotels & restaurants & gift shops. You can use them to upgrade parkhoppers to AP's, pay for tours & Fantasmic Reserved Seating.

Correct. The crystal shops on Main Street and in NOS are an example of this.

It's strange though that the B day gift cards are only good for merchandise....

I wanted to do fantasmic seating!! So where do I get these tickets, and how far ahead do I need to reserve fantasmic seating?and where do i pay with my gift card? Also do they have a place for wheel chairs and or scooters that one can see well in this seating erea?

Not really strange. They are birthday fun cards. The idea is to buy yourself a birthday gift.

By the way, you can buy food merchandise (like tiger tails).

When is your trip? Fantasmic is taking place tonight and tomorrow and then it is down until summer.

You can get Fantasmic! reserved seating through Guest Services at City Hall or by calling the Park ahead of time. 714-781-4000. I don't know if gift cards can be used for this or not. You can ask when you call.

I believe they can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters. Ask when you purchase to be safe.

Fantasmic has been running every day since January. This is unheard of. It was because there was no parade, so having it go down for a few months seems normal to me, I guess. It's such an amazing show, though!

This is right because when we use our Premium APs we get a 10% discount and not a 15% like you would for food.
