Can i upgrade my 1 day park hopper before i arrive? Feb a good time to go?

I got a 1 day park hopper pass for christmas, and plan on upgrading it to a 2 day hopper pass. i was told i can exchange it at the ticket window and pay the difference for it there. i have to order a 2 day hopper before we go, and was wondering if there is any way to upgrade mine before we go, or can i only do it at the ticket window? i would love to have tickets in hand before we go.

Is feb 24-25 a good time to go this year?? we may make a quick trip there for my wife birthday before we go to wdw and the disney cruise in april.

I dont believe that there is any other way to upgrade your pass. You will have to go directly up to the ticket counter. They will be more than happy to help you and it will only take a few mintues! How nice that you guys get to go to all 3 major disney resorts!
