Can I trust Travelocity or Orbitz?

Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) booking flights through either Travelocity or Orbitz? I checked the Delta Song website and compared it to both Travelocity and Orbitz, and Song's fare for the exact same round trip ticket was $150 per person higher. Is this too good to be true? Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Yes, they are both great websites. Orbitz is the website of a consortium of the major carriers, Travelocity has been around for a long time. Another good one is Expedia, originally started by Microsoft, but now independent I believe. I've used all three, and like all of them. I find Expedia easier to use, but you may not.

I booked our entire trip to WDW through Travelocity last year (but that was pre-DIS). I was completely happy with it. When I needed to call them and ask questions they were very helpful.

You may not find the same flights on Orbitz as you find with Song. So check flight times and if there are ones on Orbitz you can live with book your tickets there.

I find Travelocity, cheaper than Orbitz.

I booked Travelocity, for my DCL last year. I was very happy, plus I was upgraded.

I booked Travelocity, many times with flights.

I give them an A+++++ :flower:

I've been booking my vacations through all three (Travelocity, Orbitz & Expedia). Never had a problem. Everyone has a preferred site (mine is Expedia), but you'll be fine with any one of them. Just choose the one that gives the lowest fare for your trip and go with it.

Yes They are both good sites but I would not book with them. Lately Travelocity has been showing alot of bogus fares that are no longer available.
Both sites charge a $5.00 service fee per ticket.
I go directly to the airlines website....Just my own preference.
If you decide to book on one of these sites please let us all know how it goes!

Have used all these websites (travelocity, orbitz, expedia) and they work fine. Suggest though you compare prices/flights as some offer more choices than others. Then also try the airline sight as they may not charge a service fee ($10.00). Purchasing directly from the airline might get you an e-ticket (Delta, Continental) in advance, which will help if you have an e-ticket check-in option, so you don't have to stand in line waiting for a ticket desk attendant to give you a boarding pass or ticket your baggage.
