Can I trust Touring Plans personalized wait times?

I am working on our July trip to DL, and I made a DCA plan this morning on Touring Plans. The wait times seem WAY underestimated to me, and it hardly uses fast pass at all. For instance, it tells me to go to Radiator Springs Racers at 8:36am, and there will only be an 18 minute wait-- on a Saturday in July, almost 40 minutes after the park opens?! I'm just not sure whether I should trust these. Has anyone used these plans recently with success? Should I try Ridemax instead?

I wouldn't trust that at all! Park opened at 9am today, so we are about 75 minutes into the day, and the wait is at 70 minutes. Yes, it's a 3-day weekend, so increased crowds, but if expect the crowds are about the same as July weekend crowds at this time.

Only way that prediction is likely is if it is telling you to use Single Rider line. Then it *might* be 18 minutes. Honestly, even if you rush straight there after opening, it's going to be more than a 20-minute wait. If you want 2 rides, get on RSR right away, then get another FP for later. If you only need one ride, do a couple of other rides and then get a RSR FP for later (there was still a short, moving line just to GET a FP 25 minutes after opening a few weeks ago).

I've noticed the same problem. I do like to play with the custom designer, but they often tell me to ride a FP ride (like Star Tours) first, instead of a slow-loader like Dumbo. Some of their estimates seem ok, but others are really, really far off. I usually end up choosing my own order and having the website evaluate it.
