Can I tranfer to a ribbed tank?

I have a few solid colored tanks that I would like to add some tranfers to. IS this possible or would it not work?

Avery makes "stretchable" transfers...I think those would probably work.

They aren't as nice and colorful as Amymickey's, but I guess that is the trade-off to get them to work on a ribbed tank. If the tanks are for a child, Amymickey's might work...if they are for an adult (and will be stretched when worn), I think it would distort the shirt.

That is kind of what I thought. I think I will just look for some non ribbed tank tops! Thanks
