Can I take the tour if I am already a DVC owner?

Hi, we just bought into DVC through resale and would like to take the tour on our first trip. Do you think they will let us do that? Will they ask any questions that might tell them that we are already owners? We did the DVC talk on a cruise so we didn't get to take the tour. Thanks,

I don't see why you can't take a tour, especially if it's VGF.

Your name. Even though you purchased resale, you will be assigned a guide. If your guide is based at the Preview Center at SSR, this would be a chance for you to meet with him/her. Even if you never plan to add-on direct thru DVC, it wouldn't hurt to meet your guide if possible.

We took a tour at SSR after we were owners for a couple years. The guy was really nice, not hard pressure. We even told him that we were owners already and had no intentions of buying more points from them. He still showed us a 3BR GV and was very friendly and gave us his time and attention. He even gave my 3 kids SSR pins.

The guides generally like DVC members going on the tours. Many contracts are purchased either by us or because we told others about DVC.

The guides generally like giving tours to existing members. A lot of members have bought second and third contract direct from Disney. We are also a great resource, since many people show up who were told about DVC by us.
