Can I take my IPOD...

onto a plane when I fly? Or can my son take his Gameboy with him on the plane. I have not flown since 2002 and I am so confused about what I can and cannot take on my flight.
I already looked at US Airways website and it only talked about the travel size toiletries but, not the handheld devices.

You can definitely take the iPod. They usually ask that you turn them off during take-off.

I don't see why not. I flew on United Airlines for the past two summers and have brought my Gameboy on.

As long as the device does not transmit, it can be used in flight. Just make sure you have headphones for that gameboy in consideration of other passengers.
