I'm supposed to be babysitting, but I really want to see that and I have two free passes to it. I am very liberal and he is VERY mature for his age and I think it will spark some great conversations with his ultra-conservative parents. What do you think? :confused3

SERIOUSLY?

NO! :scared1:

It's rated R for:

"pervasive strong and crude sexual content, graphic nudity and language"

It's EXTREMELY raunchy. Not something an 8-year-old needs to see. I wouldn't even consider it.

Go see it when you're not babysitting and take the 8-year-old to a more age-appropriate movie.

YOU might be liberal but I am willing to bet Mom and Dad are not so much. You really think it is appropriate for an 8 year old? Really?

Um unless you never want to babysit again that would be a big old NO.

You could ask his parents if they would allow it. But why create the drama?

that would be a really good way to get out of babysitting duties :sad2:

I wouldn't be comfortable taking an 8-yo to that movie based on its rating and the pre-advertising even if their parents agreed, sorry.

I have an 8YO & if you took her to see 'Bruno', not only would I be seriously peeved but I'd be having a serious talk with your parents about your behavior.

Don't do it.

No. I really hope you're joking about this. There is no way I'd even think about taking an 8 yr old to see that movie, I don't care how mature they are.

It doesn't matter how mature you may think your cousin is, Bruno is NOT an appropriate movie for an 8 year old child to watch. I'm pretty liberal myself and if I found out someone took my 8 year old kid to see Bruno you can bet they'd never be babysitting for me ever again.

For adults, it's fine. Kids...no way.

my 17 year old son just came home from seeing it and he found it to be very offensive

No....You know his parents would not approve of it so why would you even think to do that. If you did something like that with my child I would have a hard time not putting my foot up your a**.
