Can I still visit value resorts using my own car?

I would like to visit AOA and maybe All Star Movies to have lunch and check out the resorts for a possible future stay. We will have a rental car. Can we still park there and check it out? I thought I read somewhere about people being turned away from certain resorts without having an adr but that’s not possible at a value.
