Can I send Snail Mail to a room?

I know it sounds silly but, Can I send "snail Mail" to a guest staying at any of the resorts? I imagine the address of the resort won't be too hard to find, I'm just not sure how it will get to the room? Anyone ever do this for people that are vacationing at WDW?? Did they get the mail?

I would address any mail as follows:

To: Susan B. Clark
c/o Disney's Polynesian Resort
1600 Seven Seas Lagoon Drive
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

(Of course, you would put the name of the resort your friend is staying at - I just had the Polynesian's address in front of me).

You could also call the resort directly before sending anything and ask if they will be able to deliver the mail. I don't see why they couldn't but it may be against policy.

Worked in a hotel for several years and snail mail used to come all the time. The above post is dead on, I would just add "In house guest" or "Arriving guest" to your addressee line so that the person receiving the mail catches it.

If you wanted to do more than just a card, you can have Disney Florists deliver a little something like a balloon bouquet or call the resort and see about having a cake delivered.

When we checked in, there was an envelope waiting for us.

I'd also say that the staff would hand deliver a letter that you mailed to a hotel guest.

As mentioned earlier, just mail it to the hotel and indicate the recepient is a guest.
