Ok I bought The Sims 2 a while ago but it was a bit more than my computer could handle and I just didn't have the time for it. I probably played it for about 2 hours total, so it's in excellent condition. I didn't copy the CD's and uninstalled it from my computer. What I am wondering is, will the person who gets the game be able to install it using the "code" that comes with the CD?? I can't remember if The Sims 2 is one of those programs where you have to register it online...I know Microsoft Office is like that.

I do it all the time. The Sim's does not have to registered only a CD-Key. The key is to prevent multiple people from playing on-line at the same time.

Yup they will be.

If you can play it online, you just won't be able to use the same cd-key at the same time. But since you uninstalled it, that won't be a problem.
