Can I see AK Parade and get to Boma by 5:30

I am planning on going to the Jingle Jungle parade at 3:45PM my first night and then to Boma for a 5:30 ADR. Do you think I can make it?

I do. The parade lasts 15 - 20 minutes.

Try to find a place near the path back to park exit to watch the parade. After the parade passes, you will be in a positon to leve more quickly than if you were near the parade start. Check out the map when you get ot he park and you will see what I mean.

The bus ride to AKL is only about 5-10 minutes. So if you don't have to wait too long to get a bus, you will be fine. IMHO, you have plenty of time.

I think it's possible as long as you 'stage yourself' as close as possible to the park exit. We stood in front of the Island Mercantile shop in front of the Tree of Life to view the parade. As soon as it was over, we got out of there in front of the masses. Our ressie was for 5:45, and we arrived about 40 minutes early. We went ahead and checked in, and decided to have a drink at Victoria Falls while we waited. Then, as it always seems to happen with us, our dining pager went off just after we had ordered our drinks. Good luck!

We did it. We got to AKL @ 5:00. We used our car rather than Disney transportation.

We did it, but it was a rainy day and the park was pretty empty. We actually saw the parade and rode a few rides in DinoLand then hopped on the bus for 6pm Boma reservations. We were quite early and took in the Savannah view for a while before even checking in at Boma.
