Can I purchase dvc gold annual passes separately?

Weird question but if I am purchasing 5 annual passes, do I have to purchase them in one transaction to get the ap discount or can I purchase one at a time? I am trying to use gift cards and it will only let me enter one. I was on the phone for 30 minutes last week and the cm couldn't figure it out and I do not have the time.
