Hi,

I just bought a Marriott timeshare and I see that the Disney timeshares are part of II. If I traded my week in for say Boardwalk Villas, am I able to then purchase the disney dining plan? Thanks everyone!

My understading is yes, you can. Once you have your confirmed ressie from II, you can call DVC Member Services and add the dining plan. You pay for the plan when you arrive at the resort. There is also a $95 resort fee you will need to pay.

The dining plan must be for all people in your room, for the length of the ressie (with II that would be one week). for 2007 the prices are $38.99 per adult (age 10 and older) per night of the ressie, and for kids (age 9 and under) $10.99 per night of the ressie.

That's possible, however you may need the assistance of a pastor, rabbi, priest, cleric or other spiritual advisor.

DVC is not a difficult trade using Marriott for about a third of the year. And during that time, BWV studio and 1 BR are not that tough either. 2 BR units are rare but do happen. Jan, early Feb, May, late Aug, Sept, early Oct and early Dec are the easiest times. But sporadic units do come up for even times like 4th of July and Thanksgiving. Put in your request a full year out if possible. Note you cannot trade an Orlando resort for DVC WDW but you could for VB or HH and vice versa.

As for the DDP the answer is a resounding yes. But you must get it for the full 7 days and for all in the party. Even if not using all 7 days, you must purchase for the 7. You must add it through DVC prior to arrival and through Member Services and you can pay the extra $95 fee at the same time.
