We will be taking our kids, DS 6, DS 2 and DS 2 at Christmas time. I was wondering if I could purchase one addition kids DDP for the 2yo's (twins) to share. They will be close to 3 and are good eaters so I am worried that I will have alot of $$$ out of pocket to feed them.

In some cases, they will allow that, but understand that you'll have to purchase admission for them as well, so you're better off just paying for whatever you want for them in cash.

Another solution would be to eat at buffets or family-style for your table service meal. All 3 of my kids eat a lot, and on our last trip our two year old was almost three, so not yet on the dining plan. All four of our table service meals were either buffet or family style, so he could eat as much as he wanted. For the counter service meals we did end up paying out of pocket for our son to have his own child's meal.

I would think that by having to pay admission for them, you'd be spendig much more than buying a kid's meal for them.

I agree with the thought about eating lots of all you care to eat and buffet TS so that won't be an issue.

We only have one 2yo, and tend to stick to family style and/or buffets where he can eat for free. Some of our favorites are 'Ohana, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern and Whispering Canyon. Chef Mickey's is also popular, but we found it a little too overstimulating (think Chuck E Cheese on a Saturday afternoon :scared: )

CS for us is actually where it gets pricey with OOP expense. Depending on where you go, the entrees may be large enough to split with a toddler, but at many places, our DS needed his own. Some of the places we were able to split were Toy Story Pizza Planet (added an order of breadsticks - 1 snack credit - to the meal deal. I ate the salad and a breadstick, DS had the pizza) and Tusker House (1/2 a rotisserie chicken goes a loooooooong way).

I won't be trying to add the DDP for a 2yo if I have to buy admission to get it. I appreciate all of the suggestions and since we will be there for 10 days I have thought of many buffets and family style meals for TS. It's really the CS that is a concern but I guess we'll just pay OOP for what we need.

Also I think that most CS are 4.99 for a kids meal.. so not too bad a price. Too bad you would have to buy a ticket and not just be able to purchase the DDP. Maybe call a CM to be sure.

Actually, the number I see bandied about is $3.99. I think there are still a lot of CS child meals in that price range.
