Can I post here? Illuminations dessert party

I know I'm not having a wedding at WDW but this seems to be the place with the most information on what I'm trying to do.

We are planning on going next year. It's a delayed honeymoon for my niece & her husband & we then realized it's my nephew's (her brother) birthday while we are going. Basically we are having one big family party there, so figured we would do something out of the ordinary with our group. We will have 15 people.

We are looking into an Illuminations dessert party. I have been looking at threads to get ideas. I'm liking the idea of doing it over at the GF area (at least I *thought* I read about others doing it there? Not really sure) though since I'm wondering if we could make it a dinner/dessert type of thing then. I do have a call into Disney Catering so we will see where that takes us. I just would like to have some ideas vs. sounding completely clueless when they call.

IllumiNations is at Epcot so that DP would have to be in the park. Wishes is shown at the MK so you can have a DP for Wishes at the GF. It does not have to be for a wedding only. I believe you can have one in Epcot in Morocco with as little as 10 people.

Thanks. We were offered 4 choices of the standing only areas.

We are leaning toward the Viking Landing, anyone know how the view is from there?
