Can I plan a trip in a week??? BIG NEWS pg 5!

Good Morning!

We're running a bit behind this morning so no pictures right now - sorry! We're here and last night was really good (I think!).

We're glad the baby's finally here and all seems to be going well which is wonderful!.

Parks are great - it's Disney, it can't be bad! - there's a lot of people but we're doing well. I'm just thankful it's not all of our first trips - there are too many people to mess around with that.

Alright...we have to pick them up in about half an hour so I need to get moving! I'll update soon. It's supposed to rain this afternoon about 12:30 so I'll probably have time to update this afternoon at some point!

Today's the day to head home...overall I think it's been a fun trip for sure. We managed to get quite a bit finished which is good. This morning we're heading to DHS to hit TSM, meet Buzz and Woody and McQueen and Mater and do Playhouse Disney. Then I think Dan and I and the boys are heading to DTD to do some shopping and stop at the outlet on the way home.

Yesterday we got stuck in MK during a brief rain shower. We got in line for Peter Pan and it started pouring. By the time we were done on the ride, it was a very light mist and we practically had the park to ourselves. We headed to Epcot for the afternoon but it got a bit chilly and windy so we didn't stay late. We went and checked out Chris and Amy's hotel room - very cute with a Nemo theme! - and I had to wait in the van with Corbin because he decided to kick his brother and hit me. :headache:

Baby and family are all home in MI so it sounds like all is going well there as well which is good.

Have a wonderful day!!

We got home about 8:30 last night. We stopped at the Disney outlet in St Augistine - it's 100 times nicer than the other outlet I'd been too! I manged to find a few cute things (I actually got something for myself - wait and see what it is!!).

Back at work this morning and waiting to see how things are going with the adoption proceedings. Hopefully they'll be home soon! Here are a couple of pictures of the little princess since y'all have been following the story for so long now:

Have a super great day!!

Welcome home:)

Glad to here you got home safely:thumbsup2

The little princess is BEAUTIFULprincess:

I will pray that the adoption process goes smoothly.
Looking forward to see what you got at the outlet:goodvibes
have a good nite

Welcome home and welcome back to work. That baby is stinking cute!! I'm so glad you had a good time.

She is quite adorable!!! Corbin keeps asking when Miss Angie's coming home to share her! :rotfl: Poor Carter just keeps asking for Ang and San since we usually see them about once a week or so. Hopefully they'll be home soon!

Hey all! There will be updates soon - I promise!! Life's been busy and appears that won't change any time soon at this point. Dan's just agreed to coach t-ball and we're signing Corbin up to play! This should be interesting to say the least! We'd missed the original sign up date and I was ok with that - not having practice once a week, games once a week, being able to do whatever. Well, they needed coaches and were having a "late" registration so here we are with Dan coaching and Corbin playing! :rotfl:

Sandy came home Saturday so hopefully Angie and the baby will be home soon. They had a hearing on Friday but never heard from the attorney if they were able to leave or not so they're still waiting to hear back from her to see when they'll be able to come home. I've got to work on some food for the party on the 27th and get that rolling. I also need to make the birth annoucements so those are ready when she gets home to get everything out in the mail.

Other than that, life's just been busy. I spent part of the weekend getting caught up on household stuff from being at Disney. The other part I was outside with the boys. I also watched every episode of Desperate Housewives that I'd had dvr'd (there were like 16 episodes or something like that!!) which was kind of fun. I never just sit and watch tv so I spent some time Saturday night and Sunday morning catching up. We also went garage saling Saturday morning and ran in to Publix for baggies to freeze the meat I'd gotten the night before. That turned into a $100 trip  That's why I shop alone normally!! This week my Kroger list will cost me $70 and I'll be saving $60 - yes that's why I shop alone!! :woohoo:

Dan's mom is talking about coming down around Easter time with Dan's brother and nephew. His brother had a close friend pass recently so it might be the break he needs. It would be wonderful for he and Dan to have some time together and do something fun. They're not that close (Dan was an oops! and they're like 9 years apart) so the time they spend together is always good. So, I've started "spring cleaning" to get the house back in shape for visitors! It's never ending but that's one of those things you have to take into account when you live somewhere people go to vacation!

My "dream" would be for his family to all come down for Christmas time. That would be awesome if they could all come down even for just a long weekend. We've mentioned it but we'll see if it happens or not!

Alright...back to work. It's Monday for sure...

Good morning :) Lynn

It's seems like there is always something to catch up on!:laundy: :happytv: :surfweb:
I hope that Angie an the little princessprincess: get home soon.

I hope that Dan's family is able to come for Easter:grouphug: being with family is always a good thing:lovestruc

:flower1: :dogdance: :flower: :mickeyjum :goofy: Landen sent these to you! he is sitting on my lap as iam trying and in amazied by the cookies.
Have a good day,:)

I need to do some spring cleaning myself! That's the plan for today, after I get up off of the couch. We got a new little pug puppy who is snuggling up next to me right now, and that makes it harder.
I'm so hoping that Angie can make it home soon so that she can start enjoying her new little one!

Hope you are doing well!!! I make my ADRs tomorrow.
I would really like to find out how your last two trips turned out:rolleyes: :confused3 Hmmm...;)

Dan's mom, brother and nephew will be joining us for Easter! So now I've got to get all of my running around done before they get here. They were going to fly but now might be driving...I looked at ticket prices this morning and they've dropped quite a bit so it's probably about the same cost for them to fly and it's so much easier! I'm trying to find an awesome deal to fly up there in August for Dan's cousin's wedding instead of having to drive . ugh!

I need to do some spring cleaning myself! That's the plan for today, after I get up off of the couch. We got a new little pug puppy who is snuggling up next to me right now, and that makes it harder.

Yay for a new puppy. I'd love a dog but it would make Corbin "get dead" (that's what he tells people!) :rotfl: I managed to get the boy's closet and dresser cleaned out and the spare room cleaned up as well last weekend so that's good. I wound up going home early last Friday because I had a sick baby :sad2:

Angie and Sandy will be home on the 28th. So, the "open house" that we're having for them has been moved to 4/4 (which is ok).

Happy St. Patricks day Lynn:jumping1:
May the luck of the Irish be with you!!:) :)

Aww thank you!

Hope you are doing well!!! I make my ADRs tomorrow.
I would really like to find out how your last two trips turned out:rolleyes: :confused3 Hmmm...;)

I read you got your ADRs - that's so great!! I'm sorry - life's just gotten so busy and it's honestly (most of the time) more fun to play with the boys (especially with the nice weather!) than to Dis.....We've also been having problems with our laptop and our desktop still hasn't been able to be fixed yet....ugh! Computers frustrate me!

So - I'm hoping to update a little bit tonight. I'm off on Friday and my goals are to finish cleaning the house, post updates to BOTH TRs and order the photopass cd! Busy day huh? :goodvibes

This weekend, the Auxiliary is having a garage sale at our house so Friday night we're pricing things and Sataurday is the garage sale. Sunday I'm thinking I might clean the carpets. Next weekend, Angie and Sandy come home (yay!!) with Samantha Joyce and it's Corbin's "opening day" parade or something for t-ball. (Yes we caved and signed him up and lucky Dan is coaching the team!) The next weekend, we have a local Heart Walk that the Auxiliary put a team together for, we have an Easter egg hunt for the kids Saturday morning (filling the eggs at our house Friday night!) and Saturday night is the open house for Angie and Sandy to show off Sami Jo. That Thursday Dan's family is supposed to be in - if not Thursday, first thing Friday morning. I'm off that Wednesday and Thursday so I'll have time to get all of the baking done and finish cleaning the house. Then we should have a "quiet" weekend and the following weekend we (Auxiliary) have a fundraiser for the MDA (us girls are going to pull a fire truck in the truck pull :cool2: )

That's pretty much what the next month has in store for us right now...Not very exciting but VERY busy for sure! Of course we still have to fit in t-ball practice one night a week and t-ball games on Saturday mornings of course! Corbin's so very excited!

So, I'm hoping to get an update tonight for you for both trips! I'd like to have this one finished up by Easter and the other one finished up not long after that so we can try and plan another trip before our APs run out! :rolleyes1

I also need Dan to take a picture - Monday night I cut about 6 inches off my hair. It's a little shorter than I wanted but it'll grow back and should be cute at that point!

Have a super duper afternoon!!

You're such a good mom, playing with your boys outside. I'm just on here more because I don't work outside the home, so I have more time to DIS. Plus, the weather here isn't as nice yet as it is by you. It sounds like you have a busy next couple of days/weeks. Glad that your friends are coming home with their new bundle. I'm going to Detroit on Saturday for National Cheer competition. I'll be there Sat and Sun. LONG day on Saturday. We're very excited.
Have a great Thursday!!

Hey Lynn!!! How's life in the south?? How did the garage sale turn out? How are the boys? How are you feeling? How are the new parents adjusting to parenthood?

Aww thank you. Corbin tells me that I'm mean and evil so I'll choose to listen to you instead! :goodvibes

Yes life's busy busy busy. Opening day for t-ball got cancelled but I'll update that all in a minute since I'm still not done with the Dec TR....gosh! How was Detroit?? I need to go catch up on your PTR too!! I have it open. I just need to figure out where I stopped reading last time and catch up.

Hey Lynn!!! How's life in the south?? How did the garage sale turn out? How are the boys? How are you feeling? How are the new parents adjusting to parenthood?

Hey! Life's good here actually. It rained last night which was nice - we needed the rain and I love the sound of the rain - so relaxing!! Garage sale turned out very well - we made almost $400 which is pretty good. Last year they made about $800 and the year before $1200. We didn't have a lot of bigger stuff donated this year though - it was lots of little stuff so we had to sell A LOT to make $400!

Feeling ok - still sick every now and again but not as often as it was there for awhile! :scared:

Angie and Sandy flew back last night. Last we talked to them last night, they were in Atlanta and were already delayed 25 minutes due to the rain we were getting. They're supposed to be back home by 6 today and hopefully they'll stop over so we can meet her tonight! Can't wait to meet her!! princess: Corbin wants to know when we're going to Grammy's house so he can get a little sister.....:rolleyes1 Umm we're going to grammy's this summer for a wedding but there will be no little sister!:rotfl2:

Ok the boys just got home so I've got to get some pictures on here for you guys and get a quick update on the Dec TR.....here goes!

Photobucket is moving slow this morning....I'll be back to post the pictures and update as soon as it starts to cooperate with me! :surfweb:

Ok here's a video of the boys watching youtube - one of their favorite passtimes! (hopefully this works - I don't think I've ever tried to post a video before!)

Here's "home run" Carter playing t-ball with Uncle Sandy

Here's Carter giving batting a try:

Here's home run Carter again (you'll notice that EVERY hit is a home run!):

Here's Corbin's first t-ball practice last week:

Carter was NOT happy that he couldn't have a turn too:

Here's my paper helper - he gets as excited about coupons as his mommy!!!:

The boys went out and fed the fish the other night:

Jeff and Jeffy have been out now that the sun's out more and it's really warming up:

They worked! WOW Corbin has the moves!!! He was gettin his groove on baby!!
Um, so that alligator is where by your house??? I wanted to move south, but now I'm not so sure! I think I'll just handle the mosquito's of Ohio. And I also think I'll stay away from Michigan, if that's where baby sisters come from. There will be no more little sisters here either. :rotfl:
We had a busy trip to Detroit. But, let me say that the Greektown Hotel & Casino is very nice!
Not much is happening on my PTR right now. Hoping to pay off my package next month. I can't believe that it's 2 1/2 mos away already. :woohoo: When is your next trip?

If that is the size of pets in your back yard, I'm glad i just have a cat,
glad to hear the new family is home safely, I bet you can't wait to hold that new little princess.

I read on Lisa PTR that you thinking of a Sept trip during "free dining"
I hope you go, and maybe it will be during thethe same I am there and I would get a chance to Thank you in person for all the kindness you have shown me. I read also that Lisa and Her DH might be planning a 'free dining trip, would it be great if everyone could meet.

I 'll be on phone at 7:00 a,m. to book my free dining tomorrow:banana::banana:
Have a good night:)

Yeah - Corbin's really taken to singing and dancing lately. Stanley (one of the guys at work) plays guitar and sings and Corbin keeps asking if he can learn the Imaginiation Movers song (from the video) so he can sing with Stanley. :rotfl: Poor Stanley - thankfully we're friends. I played the song for him one day and he was like "you want me to do what???" :rotfl2: He loves my kids though so I'm waiting for the day Stanley can play the song!

That alligator is Jeff (I think - the other one is Jeffy....) and he's the one that is by the "big pond" in our subdivision. That was the night he was sitting between the sidewalk and water when we went for a walk. I probably could have taken about three steps off the sidewalk and touched him. Needless to say, that didn't happen and we walked WAY on the other side of the sidewalk that night! ;) Corbin's learning to keep an eye out for them. He waits for us to get right next to him then we tell him to ride as fast as he can - no stopping anywhere near where Jeff might be able to get him. :scared:

Yeah stay out of MI - I guess there's a factory there or something! :rotfl:

I don't know that I've ever been to that hotel but I've heard great things about it! Glad you had a good time!!!

Yay for getting the trip paid off. That's wonderful! It's such a relief when it's all paid for.

Yeah he's been in our backyard a couple of times. Most of the time he's out on the "main road" of our subdivision or across the street from our backyard which is better than in our backyard.

Can't wait to see her! Hoepfully today!!

Yeah we're thinking about free dining. We were talking about it last night and both agree that we need a nice, relaxing vacation. Several friends from work want to go to (Stanley, mentioned above, being one of them) so we'll see how that works out. If everyone who "wants" to go actually went, we'd have 10-12 people going, several who have never been before.

It would be great if it worked out that we were all there at the same time - how fun! Maybe we could even talk Jill into going with us - we'd have to twist her arm to get her back to Disney I'm sure! :rotfl:

Alright....I need to try and get some work done this morning. I'll catch up again soon I promise!
